I think interiors should be functional as well as appealing to all other senses. I love a strong “pop” of color in a room, a great painting to anchor a wall and the layering of beautiful fabrics and textures.
Susan Trousdale was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Interior Design, Susan married her husband Preston and moved to Florence, Alabama. Following a six year employment with a design firm, she opened Susan Trousdale Interiors in 1997. Commercial, residential and healthcare design are incorporated in Susan’s practice. She enjoys getting to know her clients and developing relationships with them through her work. Susan has one daughter and enjoys yoga, gardening, and entertaining.
